What a 2026 syllabus must cover
Marketing did not become "AI marketing". Every channel gained an AI layer, and the syllabus has to reflect that: fundamentals first, AI woven into each channel, and measurement underneath all of it.
Four phases:
- Fundamentals & strategy — what marketing is doing and why
- Paid advertising — where the money goes
- AI-led execution — production speed and automation
- Analytics & career — proof, and getting paid for it
Phase 1: Fundamentals & strategy (weeks 1–2)
Module 1 — Digital marketing foundations Channels and how they fit together, customer journey, funnel stages, positioning, audience research, budget logic, KPIs that matter (CPL, CPA, ROAS, LTV).
Module 2 — AI tools and prompting for marketers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity in a marketing workflow. Building a brand context file, structured prompting, verifying output, and where AI reliably fails.
Module 3 — Websites and landing pages with AI Building a converting landing page without a developer using AI builders, page structure, offer clarity, mobile-first layout, form design and page speed.
Module 4 — SEO in the AI search era Keyword research, search intent, on-page optimisation, technical basics, schema markup, and structuring content to be quoted by AI Overviews and ChatGPT, not just ranked.
Module 5 — Content marketing with AI Topic clusters, briefs, drafting and editing workflow, repurposing one asset into ten, editorial judgement and the plagiarism and accuracy checks that keep a site safe.
Module 6 — Social media marketing Organic strategy per platform, AI-assisted content calendars, short-form video, community and engagement, and what actually drives business from social.
Phase 2: Paid advertising (weeks 3–5)
Module 7 — Google Ads: Search Account structure, keyword match types, ad groups, responsive search ads, quality score, negative keywords, budget and bidding strategy.
Module 8 — Google Ads: Performance Max, Display & YouTube Asset groups, audience signals, exclusions, creative requirements, video campaign types and when Performance Max helps or hides.
Module 9 — Meta Ads: Facebook & Instagram Campaign objectives, Advantage+ campaigns, creative testing frameworks, pixel and Conversions API, retargeting structures, lead forms.
Module 10 — ChatGPT Ads Manager Advertising inside ChatGPT: sponsored placements, account and campaign setup, conversation intent and audience signals, exclusions and brand safety, budgets and bidding, AI creative development, tracking, reporting and a 30-day launch plan.
Module 11 — Remarketing & funnel campaigns Audience building across platforms, sequential messaging, cart and lead abandonment, frequency control and full-funnel budget splits.
Phase 3: AI-led execution (weeks 5–7)
Module 12 — AI ad copy and creative production Generating and refining headlines, descriptions and hooks; producing image and video creatives at volume; creative testing matrices; brand voice control.
Module 13 — Marketing automation Make.com and Zapier workflows: lead capture to CRM to WhatsApp to follow-up, AI lead scoring and summarisation, internal reporting automations.
Module 14 — Email and WhatsApp marketing List building, segmentation, welcome and nurture sequences, deliverability, AI subject-line testing, and WhatsApp flows for the Indian market.
Phase 4: Analytics & career (weeks 7–8)
Module 15 — GA4, Google Tag Manager & conversion tracking The module most syllabi skip and every employer tests. Event-based measurement, GTM tag setup, conversion values, enhanced conversions, cross-platform attribution, debugging broken tracking.
Module 16 — Reporting, freelancing and career preparation Client reporting with AI summaries, dashboards, proposals and pricing for freelance work, portfolio assembly, resume and LinkedIn, interview preparation for Google Ads, Meta and analytics rounds.
The projects that should come with it
A syllabus without projects is a lecture series. Ours includes six:
- A live Google Ads Search campaign with tracking
- A Meta Ads creative test with at least six variations
- An AI-built landing page with a working lead form
- An SEO content brief and published article
- An automated lead-to-WhatsApp workflow
- A capstone: end-to-end strategy, campaigns, tracking and a client-style report
How to evaluate any course syllabus
Red flags:
- No conversion tracking module. Disqualifying. Everything else depends on it.
- "AI" as one bonus ChatGPT session. It should appear in every module.
- No live ad account work. Screenshots are not practice.
- No portfolio output. You will interview with nothing to show.
- Curriculum not published. If they will not send the module list before payment, that is the answer.
Green flags: named tools per module, real budgets, certification mapping, projects listed, a trainer who still runs campaigns, and published fees.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in an AI digital marketing course syllabus?+
Digital marketing fundamentals, AI tools and prompting, website and landing pages, SEO, content and social media, Google Ads, Meta Ads, ChatGPT Ads, YouTube, remarketing, AI copy and creative production, marketing automation, email and WhatsApp marketing, GA4 and Google Tag Manager conversion tracking, reporting, and career or freelancing preparation.
How many modules should an AI digital marketing course have?+
Between 12 and 18 modules is typical for a full beginner-to-job programme. Ours runs 16 modules across four phases in 8 weeks. Fewer than 10 usually means channels are missing; more than 20 often means each one is shallow.
How long does it take to complete the syllabus?+
Eight weeks of live classes with daily practice is enough to complete the modules and build a portfolio. Self-paced learners typically take three to six months to cover the same ground because they lack deadlines and feedback.
Does the syllabus require any prior experience?+
No. A good syllabus starts at fundamentals and assumes no marketing or coding background. Comfort with a laptop and basic English is enough.
Which certifications map to this syllabus?+
Google Ads Search, Display, Video, Shopping and Measurement (Skillshop), Google Analytics 4, Meta Blueprint, and HubSpot content and email certifications. A live course should prepare you for these alongside the modules.
Where can I see the full 16-module syllabus?+
The complete module list with topics is published on our AI digital marketing course page, along with batch timings, fees and placement support details.
